Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team for the Remote Monitoring Software project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software products. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance the reliability and performance of our remote monitoring solution for medical displays.

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.

  • Design and implement testing strategies to cover all aspects of the software, including functional, performance, and security testing.

  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.

  • Test software under various conditions to ensure robustness and identify potential issues.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system.

  • Work closely with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve defects.

  • Test the accuracy and integrity of performance data collected from medical displays.

  • Ensure data is correctly transferred and displayed on the parent display.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

  • Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and support engineers, to ensure software quality.

  • Provide clear and concise reports on testing status, defects, and overall software quality.

  • Ensure the software meets regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical devices.

  • Stay updated with relevant standards and best practices in software quality assurance and healthcare IT.

  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing with end-users and stakeholders.

  • Gather and incorporate feedback from UAT to improve software quality.

  • Document test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test results.

  • Maintain comprehensive and clear testing documentation for future reference.

  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies based on feedback and lessons learned.

  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and remote monitoring solutions

  • Understanding of medical display technologies and performance metrics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for medical devices (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) is a plus.
